What is the history of Turnsyle Ski and Snowboard Camps?
Isn't the camp all about racing?
What kind of skier or snowboarder do I need to be?
I did the camp last year, do I need to do it again?
What group will I be in and how are they decided?

Turnstyle Ski and Snowboard is the evolution of Masters Maritimes Ski Camps. We focus on ski and snowboard training and improvement, while honour our long history as Masters Maritimes.

While the camp may have its roots in racing, we are now focused on ski and snowboard improvement. The camps are focused on helping you ski with more control, rather than simply speed.

Turnstyle camps are designed for a wide range of skiing or snowboarding abilities. If you are a skier, you need to be able to comfortably link turns with your skis mostly parallel. If you are a snowboarder, you need to link turns with controlled speed and consistent edge changes. If you have been carving hard for years, but want to improve your performance, we have a group for you too. We will meet you where you are, and provide instruction designed to get you to your next level.

You will get something new and different out of the program every year; consider it an annual event!

Groups are determined by skill level. We do take groups that you travel with into consideration, however everyone gets more out of the program if your group is at a similar level. Even if you are not with the friends you came with, there is lots of time to socialize off the ski hill and there are always new friends to be made!
